are group of Sri Lankans living in Sri Lanka and in
many countries of the world, who has a feeling that
it is our duty to help our fellow Sri Lankan and contribute
as much as possible to develop our country
"mother Lanka".
We
all, including you, we love Mother Lanka that is why
we named our site as Lankalovers.com, This site
is open to anyone loves mother Lanka.
We
saw the following situations :
Other
communities taking advantages of the global economy,
and how they have passed the advantage to their country
and to fellow countryman. On of such communities is
Indian community living in abroad, they work hand to
hand to exploit every possibilities to get advantages
to their community and to their country.
When
we look at such communities we feel we are far behind
them in grabbing the advantages available, we also understood
that we alone can not do everything. There are many
individuals like us, want to do some thing for their
families, community and for the country, but some thing
is holding them.
Business
in Sri Lanka need to move in to the Global market, but
may not have the necessary connection/network or financials
to open overseas offices.
Sri
Lankans living abroad also need to have their roots
in Sri Lanka but at present they may have difficulties
in doing so..
Having
Lankalovers.com, We wanted to create the Sri
Lankan community who can share their views, getting
the necessary support and provide the support to the
others and specially to improve the financial and social
status of our country "Lanka".
